After a full day of sightseeing in Fez, including visits to the historic Bab Boujloud Gate, the renowned tanneries, and the world’s oldest university, continue northward to the charming blue city of Chefchaouen. Day 1: MARRAKECH TO FEZ
ÂDepart from Marrakech early in the morning to maximize your time in Fez.
Consider stopping in Beni Mellal for a break, and enjoy the views of the Middle Atlas Mountains.
Arrive in Fez, one of Morocco’s imperial cities, home to an ancient medina, vibrant souks, and historic landmarks.
Check into your accommodation and get settled.
Day 2: FULL DAY IN FEZ
ÂStart with an exterior driving tour of Fez that takes you to the royal palace decorated entrance and the Jewish quarter both located at Fez El Jadid, then continue to the panoramic view of the medina and finally visit the mosaics and pottery area.
Fez walking tour will take you back in time to explore the secrets of this enchanting city, the capital of medieval Morocco. Fez medina is a large labyrinth of winding alleys. It’s famous for its fascinating architecture in riads, palaces, museums and medersas; but also for its busy souks and ancestral crafts areas.
Traditionally, the exploration of the medina starts at the Bab Boujloud Gate, also known as the Blue Gate. Then one of the mid-14th century medersa, with its cedar woodwork, its sculptured stucco, marble and beautiful calligraphy. Then, stop, at the carpenters’ souk, wood museum and the beautiful famous Nejjarine fountain. Then walk to the ancient sovereign Moulay Idriss shrine and the Karawiyine Mosque (the oldest university in the history of mankind). You will move on further to Seffarine (the brass and copper working area) then the dyers of materials for textiles. Another main attraction is the tanneries.
Day 3: FEZ TO CHECHAOUEN
ÂAfter breakfast, depart Fez and head north towards Chefchaouen. The journey takes you through scenic mountain landscapes as you approach the Rif Mountains.
Upon arrival in Chefchaouen, check into your hotel and then take a leisurely stroll around this iconic “Blue City.” Its blue-painted buildings, narrow streets, and relaxed vibe make it a photographer’s paradise.
Visit the Kasbah Museum, located in the heart of the medina, to learn about the city’s history and culture.

Day 4: CHEFCHAOUEN TO TANGIER

Day 5: FULL DAY IN TANGIER

Wander around the Medina, where you’ll find bustling souks and charming streets. Don’t miss the Petit Socco for local shopping and food.Explore the Caves of Hercules, located just outside Tangier. According to legend, Hercules rested here after completing his 12 labors.
Visit the Cap Spartel Lighthouse, where the Mediterranean Sea meets the Atlantic Ocean.
For your last evening, relax in one of Tangier’s fine restaurants, enjoying seafood or traditional Moroccan cuisine, and perhaps take in a sunset from the coast.
